Meet William Vickerman – Physiotherapist Born and raised in the small town of Hope, BC, William has always had a big curiosity for how the body works (and how to get it working better). After earning his BSc in Neuroscience with distinction from Simon Fraser University in 2015, he went on to complete his MSc in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2018. William has a special interest in orthopaedic physiotherapy and is currently sharpening his skills with advanced training through the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA (because apparently one degree just isn’t enough). He’s also working toward certification in dry needling and has experience supporting individuals with neurological conditions such as stroke, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and Parkinson’s disease—as well as amputee rehabilitation. When it comes to functional strength and rehab, William’s your guy. Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find him strength training, logging miles as a distance runner, sketching, or catching up on anything Marvel (yes, he’s seen them all). His favourite vacation spot is Maui, where he insists the sunshine makes him run faster.
