Cielo is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Tai Chi, Qigong, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with a deep passion for integrating movement, energy cultivation, and holistic healing. She also utilizes Tui Na (Chinese Massage) as part of her skill-set or as an integral part of treatments if needed/requested. Her journey into internal martial arts began in 2008, after years of yoga practice when she sought to explore healing modalities rooted in her own tradition. She trained intensively in Chen-style Tai Chi in its birthplace, Chen Village, and later studied Taichi and Health Qigong in Shanghai Sports University under a national champion. Her studies continued in Wudang Mountain, where she delved into Taoist practices and energy cultivation. Recognizing the profound connection between Qigong, Tai Chi, and TCM, Cielo pursued formal studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She completed her TCM program in 2023 and became a Registered TCM Practitioner in 2025. Her understanding of Yin-Yang theory, meridian systems, and energy flow deeply informs her teaching, allowing her to guide students in both movement and self-healing practices. With over 15 years of experience teaching mind-body practices, Cielo offers gentle, accessible, and therapeutic Qigong classes, particularly suited for those seeking to improve balance, flexibility, and overall vitality.
