Owner, Jocelyn Giammarino, a licensed massage therapist of over 12 years, received an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy at STCC, where she received the 'Healing Hands Award'. She also has a Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Holistic Health/Integrative Therapy and a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. Jocelyn has experience working in multiple settings as a pediatric OT. Jocelyn went back to massage therapy when she realized her passion and gift for the healing art. Jocelyn has done continuing education in CranioSacral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, pediatric massage - including children with ASD.
Therapeutic massage uses various modalities that range from deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, sports massage, and Swedish massage to focus on creating space, alleviating pain, improving mood and sleep, helping your body to move more fluidly, and gain balance within your nervous system
