I have been a massage therapist since 2022 after graduating from Irene's Myomassology Institute. Prior to that, I was providing care for 18 years as a RN and Certified Nurse Midwife (and performing A LOT of labor massage as well!) I was drawn toward a career in massage after years in healthcare showed me the deep connection between mind and body, wanting to help people heal suffering through compassionate bodywork. This session is based in Swedish Massage techniques with the goal of providing general relaxation and shifting the nervous system away from a fight or flight (sympathetic) state and into a parasympathetic (rest and digest) state. The session is tailored to focus on any areas of concern and pressure is personalized to the client's preferences.
