I found my passion for massage therapy during a daunting year of high school. My father was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, my stepmother with Plantar Fasciitis, and my mother with De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis. They endured nearly a year of pain before I started school for Massage Therapy. In college, I practiced what I was learning on them every week, witnessing their pain disappear like magic to a young therapist. To this day, I carry the same level of passion for helping people live pain-free. My focus is to help you achieve your goals. Whether it’s eliminating pain during your golf swing, increasing hip mobility for a PR in your back squat, or reducing scar tissue, I’m here to help you reach your health goals. I attended Everest College and received my diploma in 2008, passing the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in September of the same year. My education is always ongoing. My primary training includes a variety of modalities such as deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish, prenatal, sports, and more. In recent years, I’ve added certifications in Rehabilitation Massage, Thai Massage, Yoga, Medical Massage, Nutrition, and Personal Training. I have also completed the Specialty Certificate program for Orthopedic Clinical Massage and Corrective Exercise. In 2022, I became Board Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), which signifies the highest standard of excellence in the field, showcasing advanced knowledge, skill, and a commitment to ongoing education. In 2023, I decided to further enhance my education by starting a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. This advanced study allows me to integrate traditional and modern approaches to health and wellness, providing a more comprehensive approach to client care. I genuinely look forward to working with you and being a part of your wellness journey. Together, we can achieve your health goals and help you live a pain-free, vibrant life.
