Sam has been a Victoria resident since 2014 and is drawn to the island lifestyle of all the nature that is offered here. Sam graduated in May 2024 from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor in Kinesiology. Since that time, Sam has been busy shadowing and volunteering in many clinics in Victoria and Vancouver and was happy to land at Shelbourne Physio. She is very active in her own exercise journey with soccer, running, hikes, pilates, and walking her two playful Golden Retriever’s Bella and Piper. Sam has played soccer competitively since she was six years old and has won multiple tournaments throughout the years with her teams. She has also received an MVP award. Sam’s passion continues to grow for the sport and currently plays for a local women’s recreation league. Sam also used to compete in track and field, taking part in the 100m, 200m, and relay events. Since graduating, Sam has completed many courses such as MovBetter (advanced corrective movement course), Assessing and Treating the Lumbar Spine, Effective Exercise Prescription, and finalizing becoming a Physiotherapist Assistant. Sam is eager and constantly looking for new courses to further her education in her field. She is looking forward to getting to know her clients and helping them with their fitness and rehab journey.
