I grew up in Ottawa watching football and found myself paying more attention to what was happening on the sideline when players got hurt than the game itself. This lead me to pursue Athletic Therapy and ultimately I ended up moving to Philadelphia to work in sports full-time. When I moved back to Canada and started working with the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball Team, I quickly learned how beneficial manual therapy could be especially when combined with a supporting exercise program. Because of this, I ended up going to school to become a Registered Massage Therapist. I believe combining massage therapy with my athletic therapy background allows me to help my patients return to the activities they want to do. When I’m not working, you can find me walking around the neighborhood with my dog Gozo, or on the water as a member of one of Toronto’s competitive dragon boat teams.
