Matthew grew up in Montreal, QC, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Exercise Science at Concordia University, and became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He went on to graduate from McGill University with a Masters of Physiotherapy, and worked in Montreal before moving to Kelowna in the summer of 2021. Matthew is a physiotherapist with a comprehensive approach to optimizing patients. His knowledge and experience in physical conditioning strengthens his practice to guide patients throughout their entire rehab, back to sport and performing to their full potential. Matthew has a keen interest in running rehab and vestibular conditions, and is certified to dry needle. He will happily work with you in English or French. As Matthew values the importance of professional development, he attends a variety of continuing education courses to stay abreast with the latest research and continuously improve his patient care. Additionally, he likes to contribute to the development of the profession through mentorship of physiotherapy residents, and kinesiology & rehab assistant students, and has guest lectured at McGill in their Masters level course. Since moving to Kelowna, Matt has taken advantage of the outdoor activities that the Okanagan has to offer. In the winter he enjoys backcountry ski touring, and in the summer hiking with his partner Kelsey in the great outdoors.
