Nimrat Kaur is a Registered Physiotherapist in Canada and Member of Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She received her Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University, India in 2008. She has been practicing physiotherapy since then treating Orthopaedic, and musculoskeletal impairments, and sports injuries. Dedicated to continuing education and evolving her skills, she has been busy completing post-graduate diploma in advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy within the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Besides her training in Mackenzie and Mulligan, she is also certified in IMS/Dry needling, TMD evaluation and treatment. She developed a special interest in Pelvic Physiotherapy/Women’s health, particularly pre and post-natal. She is certified in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, ROST Therapy, Diastasis Recti management, C-section management, allowing her to treat conditions like pelvic girdle pain, incontinence and organ prolapse. She incorporates manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and patient education as treatment plans to deal with pain and movement dysfunctions. Her approach leads to the goal of improving the quality of life and regaining independence for her patients. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and likes to keep herself active by going for walks with her dog, doing yoga and Pilates.
