Growing up, I knew very little about chiropractic care or proactive wellness; like most people, I visited a medical doctor whenever I experienced illness or pain. As a competitive athlete, I faced my fair share of sports injuries—many of which I simply left to heal on their own, unaware that conservative therapies could have accelerated my recovery. My introduction to chiropractic care occurred while earning my Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University. Seeing firsthand how chiropractic treatment helped individuals relieve chronic pain and maintain vibrant lifestyles completely changed my perspective on healthcare. I knew immediately that I wanted to dedicate my life to helping people improve their quality of life through proactive, preventative care. My fascination with human anatomy and injury rehabilitation made my educational path incredibly rewarding. After graduating with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2012, I was eager to bring modern, evidence-based solutions to my patients. To provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to pain relief, I completed advanced certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University—a neurofunctional, anatomy-based approach that targets local tissue injury and nerve irritation. I have also completed advanced clinical training focused specifically on disc herniation care, sciatica resolution, and non-surgical lower back pain relief. Today, as a practitioner dedicated to serving the Milton community, I enjoy working with patients of all ages and stages of life. My practice ranges from providing gentle care for children navigating developmental bumps and scrapes, to optimizing athletic performance for competitive athletes, providing specialized prenatal and postpartum chiropractic care to help mothers adapt to physical changes, and helping seniors improve balance, gait, and mobility. I believe that chiropractic care is a vital tool for everyone, and I strive to customize every treatment plan to meet your unique needs—whether you are dealing with acute lower back pain, neck stiffness, or repetitive strain injuries. Outside of the clinic, my wife, our two boys, and I live in Stoney Creek alongside our 2 kittens Rip and Trooper. While I am a dedicated family man who still enjoys working out, camping, hiking, playing soccer and softball in the summer, and hockey in the winter, my hobbies have adapted to match my sons’ interests. These days, you can often find me playing cars and trucks on the hardwood floors, playing laser tag, or masterfully negotiating with my boys to get dressed for school in the morning. My ultimate goal during our appointments at Carriage Square Chiropractic is that you feel listened to, understood, supported, and thoroughly cared for. I look forward to meeting you and working together to achieve your personal health and performance goals.
