Melissa (Mel) graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2013 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She began her career as a Certified Personal Trainer, gaining valuable experience before pursuing further education in Alberta, where she earned an Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy and later a Diploma in Massage Therapy. As both a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Athletic Therapist, Mel brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to treating musculoskeletal injuries. With nearly 8 years of experience in manual therapy and corrective exercise prescription, her approach is active, client-focused, and emphasizes education and empowerment. Outside the clinic, Mel enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible and loves to hike, snowboard and chase after her toddler. She’s also passionate about supporting athletes, whether treating them in the clinic or providing care on the sidelines during games.
