Currently I am involved with Dalhousie University Physiotherapy Department as a Clinical Instructor. I am originally born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, but have lived and worked in Toronto, Saskatoon, as well as internationally in New Zealand. My love in life includes gaining new experiences, especially through travelling and the martial arts, which I have been able to combine to train overseas. I am also one for art and comic books. My experience as a physiotherapist includes a multitude of conditions, anywhere from strains/sprains, chronic pain, or even on field rugby physiotherapy, allowing my knowledge to be well diversified. Currently I have a special interest in post-surgical rehabilitation. With my diverse education and international experiences, my philosophy to patient treatment involves finding the right solution to each individual’s needs. Amalgamating manual therapy, exercise, medical considerations, and patient education, I strive to create the best treatment approach possible. I believe in the complete picture of health, and therefore try to make the patient experience as fun as possible, even cracking some amazing jokes from time to time.
