Karen Munro-Caple, a graduate of Algonquin College, has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2001. She has had a diverse practice which included seniors in the Perley Rideau Veterans Health Centre, adults in group homes with Cerebral Palsy to volunteering massage treatments with the AID’s Committee of Ottawa. Her practice ranges from treating pregnant women, seriously ill patients to athletes and weekend warriors. As well as regular massage treatments she has studied Ortho-Bionomy. She also supervises third year Algonquin College Massage Therapy students at the Perley Rideau Veterans Health Centre since 2003. During the time before practicing massage therapy, Karen spent twenty years working in the film Animation business. She experienced many aspects of the field from animating to animation directing on such projects as “Scooby Doo”, “Inspector Gadget” and “The Raccoons”. .
