Marina Doktorman, M.S., L.Ac., is an experienced acupuncturist who obtained her Masters of Acupuncture from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City in 2001. During her studies, she focused on Chinese Herbology, a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that utilizes herbs to complement acupuncture treatments. Marina is licensed in both New York (NY) and New Jersey (NJ) and holds a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), indicating her expertise in the field. To enhance her skills and knowledge, Marina Doktorman has sought guidance from renowned scholars and explored various methods in different countries such as South Korea, Denmark, Canada, and throughout the United States. She has received specialized training in several acupuncture techniques and modalities including Esoteric Acupuncture, Cosmetic Rejuvenation, Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, New Scalp Yamomoto, Acu-Nova, Balance Method, TCM Dermatology, German Auricular Acupuncture, and Neuro-Acupuncture. This diverse training allows her to draw from a range of approaches when designing treatment plans for her patients. With over 20 years of clinic experience, Marina Doktorman integrates different acupuncture styles with Chinese Medicine Modalities to provide effective treatment strategies. Her areas of expertise include fast pain relief, stress management, depression, and women`s health. She approaches each treatment with an individualized approach, aiming to promote whole body balance and optimal health for her patients.
