Wendy E. Choi L.Ac, M.S., Dipl.O.M. Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Esthetitican Wendy is a passionate and warm-hearted acupuncturist and herbalist. Born and raised in Korea, she was first exposed to Chinese medicine at a young age. As a weak child, she often experienced health complications as a child and relied on natural remedies to fight off her illnesses and build up her immune system. Wendy’s journey of becoming a full fledged acupuncturist began in Switzerland, where she lived with her husband and had her first child. To her surprise, Oriental Medicine was widely embraced in Europe and she was fortunate enough to study under the renowned Oriental Medicine practitioners in Chiway Academy for Acupuncture and Asian Medicine in Switzerland. She continued her studies after moving to Orange County, CA by obtaining her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University, the largest Oriental Medicine school in the US, and graduated as a valedictorian in 2010. Soon after, she started a couple of acupuncture clinics in Los Angels and Orange Counties while teaching California Acupuncture Board Exam preparation course at the university by invitation from the professors. Wendy moved back to the states in 2018 after 6 years in Singapore due to her husband’s work and is thrilled to practice her passion helping people with her skills in Georgia. Her emphasis is in pain management, gynecology, infertility, preconception and postpartum care, gastrointestinal health, stress relief, depression, anxiety, cancer support and cosmetic facial acupuncture. She is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in GA and CA with National Acupuncture & Herbalist license(NCCAOM). She is also a licensed esthetician in California. Wendy has been happily married for 20 years with 2 boys and a girl. On the weekends you will often find her at a trail mountain biking with her husband.
