Claire Thomas PT, MScPT, BPE, AFCI, CGIMS Claire graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Science Degree in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor’s Degree of Physical Education. During this time she played varsity soccer for the University of Alberta, Red Deer College and the FISU Universiade Team. Claire has completed her Intermediate Diploma in Manual and Manipulative therapy. She is licensed in Medical Acupuncture and is a certified Gunn IMS practitioner. Claire is registered on the Alberta Physiotherapists Imaging Roster which allows her the ability to refer patients for diagnostic imaging. Claire has also worked as a contractor for the Canadian Sports Institute Calgary, she has worked and travelled with the Canadian National Luge Team and Speed Skating Canada. She has also worked and traveled with Alberta Lacrosse, Local Box Lacrosse Teams and has done physiotherapy coverage for International Netball competitions. Claire likes to treat a variety of injuries and her treatment approach combines education, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, acupuncture and IMS to help her patients reach their rehabilitation goals. Claire joined Silverado Sport Physio in 2013.
