Laura has been passionate about working with her hands from a very young age, and feels truly honoured to be able to help others through the practice of massage therapy. As a registered massage therapy practitioner, Laura considers herself to be a guide and a facilitator. Her intention is to meet your needs and support you to find release, alignment and inner connection to enable you to live a more whole and balanced life. Laura practices primarily from a myofascial approach and enjoys creating a treatment that balances both critical thinking and intuition to address the root cause of your concerns. As a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2014, Laura is trained in myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point release, joint mobilization, scar tissue treatment, and Swedish massage. As a former yoga instructor, Laura is a firm believer in the power of movement and breath to facilitate healing. She enjoys creating unique home care routines including stretching, strengthening and breathing exercises to support you to be an active participant in your own journey to wellness. Laura provides care that is client-centred, LGB2STQIA+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. You can find Laura at Broadway Wellness on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:15 AM –2:15 PM.
