Amber Reding was born and raised around the Portland Metropolitan area, highly influencing her desire to give back to the community that raised her. In 2011 Amber Commissioned into the US Army where she served as a Human Resources Officer. As a female combat veteran Amber is particularly sensitive to the many different ways that events can create traumas in our lives. She strives to create a safe, trauma-informed treatment space where she hopes all people feel comfortable and SAFE! At the most basic level, healing begins with a safe place and a kind touch. Due to Amber’s military background she has a passion for treating physical pain through the body, the mind and the spirit. She has witnessed first hand that mental, emotional and physical pain cannot be separated and in order to promote balanced, and lasting healing people must be treated on all three levels. After attaining her acupuncture license in 2017 Amber began to realize the immense healing potential of treatment through focusing on the face. As humans we interface with the world through our expressions. Treatment of the face is treating human emotion and experiences. The human face is unique in that it is the only place where muscles attach directly to skin. To ensure patient safety and best clinical effects Amber took an additional one year certification on Facial Acupuncture which includes cosmetic, neuromuscular conditions and microneedling.
