Kathleen (Kat) was drawn to the physiotherapy profession by her passion for promoting overall well-being. Kat’s treatments aim to reduce pain and promote healing through manual therapy, targeted exercises, and modalities such as interferential current therapy, ultrasound and infra red heating therapy. Kat treats patients of all ages with a large variety of conditions. She holds advanced certification and has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of vestibular conditions that cause vertigo, dizziness, and imbalance. She is a graduate of McMaster University’s Master of Science in Physiotherapy Program. Prior to studying physiotherapy, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph. She keeps up to date on the most effective and evidence based treatment options, and is committed to continuing her education by taking various professional development courses. When not practicing physiotherapy, Kat enjoys maintaining a balanced lifestyle through yoga, running, snowboarding, gymnastics, baking healthy treats, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
