Michael, a proud alumni of Western University and the University of Toronto, began his post secondary studies by completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and later a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. While pursuing his studies, Michael’s passion for health and fitness continued to grow, compelling him to complete certifications through the Canadian Society of Exercise and Physiology and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. More recently, Michael has completed a certificate through the Titleist Performance Institute to assist in identifying and managing physical limitations and golf swing characteristics that contribute to efficiency, injury prevention and performance. Currently, Michael is the lead Physiotherapist with Hockey Canada’s National Para Hockey team and is currently helping the team prepare for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Outside of their work as physiotherapists, Michael and his wife Allana love to spend their time staying active through various forms of fitness and sport. Michael strongly believes that an active lifestyle is key in optimizing health and wellbeing and strives to assist others in achieving both short term and long term lifestyle and performance goals.
