Nethun completed his Master of Physical Therapy at Western University after earning his Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Early in his career, he worked as a personal trainer and as a youth sports coach, experiences that built his foundation in exercise therapy, injury prevention, and working with clients of all ages to achieve their goals. Having gone through his own sports injuries, Nethun developed a profound appreciation for the role physiotherapy plays in recovery and was inspired to pursue a career that aligned with his passions and personality. Through his clinical training, he gained valuable experience in hospital settings, working with patients post-surgery and in stroke rehabilitation, as well as providing in-home physiotherapy care for older adults. These experiences have helped him develop a holistic approach to treatment and strengthened his ability to adapt care to meet each clients personalized needs. Today, Nethun combines an evidence based approach with a comprehensive range of manual therapy and exercise based treatments to help clients return to the activities that matter most to them. Outside of the clinic, Nethun is a passionate sports fan with a special love for basketball and the Toronto Raptors. He enjoys staying active by going to the gym, playing sports, and running.
