Grant has been interested in health and wellness from a young age, as well as had a natural curiosity for the non-beaten path. After varied studies in his formative years—including two diplomas in Psychology and Kinesiology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts— he decided to pursue his calling to help others in their journey of healing. He is a Practitioner of Chinese Medicine and has completed the schooling for the Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC in 2021. His interests outside of education include: frisbee golf, snowboarding, and hockey—though he grew up playing any sport that was available, so he understands that there are different health needs for different sports. With an interest in sports, Grant has also had experience treating and training young athletes. Giving people the tools to reach their full potential is what Chinese medicine is all about, which is why young athletes can be rewarding to work with, as small changes make a large impact on the direction of their sporting careers. Grant is open to treating a variety of conditions and folks from all walks of life at different aspects of their journey, as treating whole families has become a main passion through affecting the family as a whole. Being part of a community is important to his career path. Focusing locally allows for a challenging workload where no two days are the same. Some conditions treated include: digestive, insomnia, high blood pressure, as well as pain related discomfort. He enjoys working with people one-on-one, in order to gain insight into their lives, which will help him give patients the best recommendations for their health. These recommendations vary from diet therapy, exercise therapy, cupping, gua sha, personally curated herbal formulas, and acupuncture. His approach is multifaceted and he uses a variety of diagnostic methods and tools, though all of which are deeply intuitive.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture

Placing thin needles into the surface of the skin, acupuncture promotes and clears the flow of energy through the meridians. Blocks in energy often lead to pain and dis-ease, which can be helped significantly using acupuncture.
