Raffaela (Raffy) Frymark, nee Madaffari, has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2014. Her plan to spread her knowledge and experience has caused her to separate herself from the spa world and offer her services to everyone, thus creating NoMad Massage. Raffy is an Independent Contractor and Sole Proprietor of NoMad Massage, offering mobile and in-house services, chair massage events, and helping out various local businesses. From Raffy, "I am here to help educate clients that Massage does not need to hurt in order to be effective. I have been working since 2014 to create a Massage Technique that provides immediate tangible results without causing pain. My work is slow, but very effective. You have to TRUST THE PROCESS." Raffy has created an inviting space to bring her West Coast schooling to Pennsylvania. She specializes in Myofascial Techniques, and works primarily with the connective tissues to not only engage the clients' deeper tissues, but help bring their awareness within.
Prenatal massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Starting out in a side-lying position, pillows are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen, focusing on the back, glutes, and legs. The end of the massage will be in a semi-recumbent position, focusing on the upper pectoral muscles, arms, and neck.
