Harps is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Massage Therapist at Langley Physio & Massage Clinic, a well-respected multidisciplinary health centre known for its strong community reputation. She is a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and is fully registered to practice in British Columbia. Her clinical experience includes treating a wide variety of conditions such as lymphedema, pre- and post-surgical care, pregnancy-related concerns, fibromyalgia, sinusitis, headaches, postural dysfunction, carpal tunnel syndrome, women’s health conditions, constipation, musculoskeletal injuries, and tension- and stress-related issues. A key area of focus is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)—a gentle, light-touch therapeutic technique originally developed by Dr. Emil and Estrid Vodder that supports lymphatic system function by reducing swelling, enhancing tissue recovery, and assisting with fluid balance.

Massage Therapy

Manual Lymph Drainage Massage Treatment

The goal of the lymphatic system is to protect the body from infection and allow a healthy balance of fluids to move freely throughout the body. MLD is a very gentle, light touch form of massage based on pumping, circular and spiral shaped movements. The skin is stretched and torqued in a specific manner with the correct pressure, direction, and speed. This has been proven to encourage lymph flow and can greatly enhance recovery and facilitate drainage.
