Heather was born and raised in New Zealand and moved to Canada during High School. She graduated from The University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2014 with a BHSc (Hons) in Kinesiology. During her time at UOIT, Heather was a member of the varsity tennis team. She then went on to complete a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen’s graduating in November of 2017. Heather chose Physiotherapy as a profession as she has always had a interest in the use of movement and functional retraining to eliminate pain and improve performance. She is also a Functional Movement Screen- Level 1 & Functional Dry Needling- Level 1 certified practitioner and enjoys working with clients from a variety of populations- including athletes and members of the pediatric and geriatric populations. Heather strongly believes movement and exercise is a integral part in overall heath and wellness and can often be found in the Gym, Pilates, or Spin studio.
