In 2015 Farnaz had the honour to complete the “Ontario Internationally Educated Physical Therapy Bridging Program” with the University of Toronto. This included two clinical internships in “Toronto East General Hospital” and “Providence HealthCare”. She is still actively involved with continued education in U of T through volunteering in physical therapy lab classes. As an OIEPB alumni herself, she recognizes the challenges faced by IEPTs and enjoys rekindling their PT passion and sharing her success. In 2019 she was awarded a “Department of Physical Therapy Recognition Award” for valued contribution to the education of physical Therapy students at the University of Toronto. She is very enthusiastic to enhance her physiotherapy skills by taking advanced courses such as acupuncture and dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, geriatric physiotherapy, manual therapy and many more weekly webinars in order to provide KW community with the best health-care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, nature hiking and travelling.
