CALL CLINIC TO BOOK! Kerri-Ann Swartz has worked in orthopaedic rehabilitation for over 15 years. First, as a Registered Kinesiologist, and then soon after, completed her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from UBC. Kerri completed her Orthopaedic Fellowship in Manipulation and Manual Therapy (FCAMPT), as well as Acupuncture & Gunn IMS certification, for which she continues to act as a mentor/instructor. She is also finishing her Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) Training for advanced work in medical and surgical triage of complex cases. She has worked with a wide variety of conditions ranging from pediatric and post-operative orthopaedics to crossfit/weight lifting athletes, and high level team sports. Kerri is a Pelvic Heath Physiotherapist focusing on pre/post natal and peri/menopausal issues and return to sport, an area close to heart after having issues herself since the arrival of her son. She has training in the following areas: The Female Athlete 1 & 2 Rost Therapy for Pelvic Girdle Pain/Coccydynia Pre and Post-Partum Athlete Training (Brianna Battles) Pregnancy & Labor/Delivery Courses Kerri offers one-on-one in-person or tele-health pre and post natal sessions to teach you pertinent information surrounding your pregnancy and birth process, but also the ever important 4th trimester, post-partum season. Low back pain is a large focus of her practice with McGill Method Certification (Dr. Stuart McGill) and working to become a McGill Master Clinician which is a focus on aiding low back pain when all else has failed. She is also a CrossFit Level 1 coach, Movement and Mobility Specialist and has training in Myofascial Decompression (cupping). She combines her love of functional movement with rehabilitative exercises that are practical and specific to one’s goals. Finding the issue, relieving pain and restoring function for your goals is her priority. Her philosophy for physiotherapy is simple: Empower. Adapt. Live. In her spare time, you can find Kerri training out of her garage gym or CrossFit Chilliwack, chasing after her son and lab pup, and seeking new adventures in the mountains; be it camping, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, trail running or mountain biking.
