After graduating high school I went to RIT/NTID to study American Sign Language interpreting. Even though I loved ASL and Deaf culture, I decided that the interpreting program wasn't for me. While attending RIT, I took a health/wellness class in massage therapy. It really interested me, and the more I researched it, the more fascinated I was by massage. I decided to attend the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Rochester. It was one of the most challenging and enjoyable experiences of my life. I had finally found something that I was passionate about. I completed the intensive 6-month program and graduated as salutatorian in December, 2009. I took my massage therapy boards at the end of January, and received my massage therapy license in March, 2010. I began working shortly thereafter, and I've never stopped learning. Having the opportunity to work on several no fault insurance cases, I was able to really develop my medical massage therapy techniques. My favorite continuing education class so far has been Ashiatsu Deep Feet Bar Therapy. I received my certification in April, 2018. I went back to school and became a licensed esthetician in February 2022 in order to perform skincare services and provide the full spa experience. Massage therapy and esthetics is a very fulfilling and rewarding career. My goal is to provide personalized massage and skincare services in a safe, comfortable, relaxed environment in order to relieve stress, aches and pains, and maintain a happy, healthy, and connected mind and body.
