Koby’s appreciation for massage therapy began long before he ever considered formal training in the profession. As a high-level high school athlete in both track and field and football, he relied heavily on massage therapy, physiotherapy, and chiropractic care to stay healthy, recover well, and keep performing at his best. Those experiences sparked a deep appreciation for hands-on care and the impact it can have on someone’s ability to move, compete, and simply feel good in their body. In 2017, he graduated from Makami College and stepped fully into the profession that had supported him for so many years. Koby’s treatment style is rooted in movement. Whether he’s incorporating stretching, gentle joint mobilizations, or active muscle release, he believes that engaging the body through guided motion leads to better outcomes and longer-lasting results. His approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping people understand their bodies so they can feel more capable and confident in their day-to-day lives. While he originally pursued massage therapy with the goal of working with athletes, becoming a father of two broadened his perspective. Today, Koby loves treating people of all ages and activity levels — from weekend warriors to busy parents to anyone simply trying to make it through the demands of daily life. He understands that everyone carries their own version of stress, strain, and fatigue, and he’s passionate about being a supportive part of their recovery. Outside the clinic, Koby enjoys reading nonfiction, baking, and gardening. Weight training remains his favourite way to satisfy his inner athlete, and he’s always exploring new ways to stay active and keep moving.
