Emily completed her Bachelor of Science in the Physical Education (Honours) program at Brock University. She pursued education further at McMaster University while earning her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Emily works with her patients to create meaningful goals and curates a treatment plan specific to the patient and desires. Emily believes in delivering care that is patient specific and evidence based. She uses a combination of hands on therapy, joint mobilizations, modalities, and therapeutic exercise prescription. Emily also prioritizes patient education and promotes self efficacy so patients can take an active role in their own recovery management. Emily thrives with the challenges of neurological conditions as she has experience working with people who have brain injuries. Additionally Emily is very well equipped to manage sports related injuries as she is very active herself. Emily loves to hike, play spike ball, volleyball and has a special passion for gymnastics & cheerleading, spending her time coaching and being an athlete herself!
