Tolpa Holistic Health
Dr. Tolpa holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College with over 4200 hours of clinical training. Her chiropractic treatment style utilizes a blend of manual adjustments, Active Release and IASTM techniques to achieve pain free motion. She can alter her chiropractic style to suit a gentle or more powerful adjustment. Common areas she treats are the jaw, neck, low back, pelvis, and extremities for conditions such as headaches/migraines, carpal tunnel, epicondylitis, trigeminal neuralgia, vertigo, bursitis, tendinitis, tinnitus, muscle sprain/strain, Sacroiliac (SI) dysfunction, sciatica ,and neuropathy. She also went on to specialize in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture at McMaster Medical University under Dr. Elorriaga, MD with a focus on functional assessment, manual treatment of musculoskeletal problems, TCM acupuncture, and sports injuries. Dr. Tolpa has furthered her acupuncture certification to include women’s health and anti-aging through Dr. Lucas in cosmetic acupuncture and abdominal protocols for fertility. Dr. Tolpa has also worked closely with Pregnancy and Pediatrics as an ICPA Webster’s Certified provider; she is proficient in chiropractic adjustments for pregnant women, infants and children. Dr. Tolpa completed additional coursework in functional medicine to discover the root cause of illness and manage multifaceted chronic health issues. She has a special interest in digestive and women’s hormonal health. Lab work, supplementation, and physical examination are utilized to create personalized treatments for every patient. Dr. Tolpa has an interest in mindfulness meditation work which led her to complete her yoga teacher training at La Casa Shambala in Koh Phangan, Thailand and went on further to earn her Reiki certification; a Japanese stress reduction and relaxation technique that promotes healing. In her spare time she is constantly learning new ways to expand her healing practices, training for half marathons, and hiking new trails.
