Cassie completed her undergraduate degrees (BSc in Kinesiology and a BA in Sport & Exercise Psychology) at the University of New Brunswick. Being a member of both the soccer and rugby teams at UNB, she spent a lot of time with the team therapists which led her to pursue her education in this field. She completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster graduating in 2012. Cassie truly believes in lifelong-learning and is devoted to keeping up with the latest research to deliver evidence-based client centered care. She has pursued continuing education courses in pelvic floor physiotherapy, acupuncture, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and chronic pain. In November 2018 she successfully attained her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the CPA, which is the highest level of manual therapy training in Canada, making her a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). In her spare time, she enjoys watching and playing sports (Go Leafs, Go cowboys!), working out, and travelling. She also recently started BJJ and has a whole new appreciation for various injuries because of this!

Physiotherapy Initial Assessment

We are proud partners of the Stoney Creek Sabres! As part of our SCGHA partnership, all current players, coaches, staff, and their immediate family members receive 15% off their Initial Assessment. During this comprehensive 60 minute visit, your physiotherapist will assess your injury, provide a diagnosis, and start you on a customized treatment plan to get you back on the ice (or back to life!). An initial assessment is designed for new patients who have never been to our clinic. Lasting 60 minutes, this session gives the physiotherapist ample opportunity to review your health history thoroughly and evaluate the area of concern. Additionally, returning patients who haven't visited in over nine months should also schedule an initial assessment. Please note: You may be asked to verify your SCGHA affiliation at your first appointment.
