Acupuncture
A qualified Chiropractic Acupuncturist is a licensed healthcare professional trained in both chiropractic care and acupuncture, combining modern musculoskeletal knowledge with traditional Chinese medicine principles. This integrated training allows them to assess structural alignment, nerve function, and overall body balance while using precise acupuncture techniques to support healing, reduce pain, and improve function. Treatment sessions typically range from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the patient’s concern, overall health status, and treatment goals. Shorter visits may focus on targeted pain relief, while longer sessions allow for a more comprehensive therapeutic approach. In addition to traditional needling, treatments may incorporate: Moxibustion (moxa): A gentle heat therapy using dried mugwort to warm and stimulate specific acupuncture points, improve circulation, and support healing. Electroacupuncture: Mild electrical stimulation applied to acupuncture needles to enhance point activation, reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and promote neuromuscular recovery. Red Light Therapy (Low-Level Laser or Photobiomodulation): A non-invasive light therapy used to stimulate cellular repair, decrease inflammation, accelerate tissue healing, and support pain reduction. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
