Dr. Amanda Wappelhorst, D.C. grew up near Wichita, Ks and attended Newman University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then continued her education at Cleveland Chiropractic college in Overland Park, KS in September of 202, where she truly discovered her passion in life. In December 2023 she graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Amanda learned through school that not only does she love the holistic and natural approach of chiropractic, but she enjoys the one-on-one time she spends with her patients! She values patients-centered care and wants her patients to be well informed so that they may take charge of their health while not in the office. She has experience in many chiropractic techniques including Gonstead, Activator, Sacral Occipital Technique, Diversified, and Leander. She also incorporates the use of myofascial release, instrument assisted soft tissue modalities such as scarping, manual therapy, kinesiotaping, and therapeutic exercises. She is always looking to broaden her skills to best support her patients and their needs! Outside of work, Dr. Amanda loves spending time with her dogs, family, and friends, reading, arts and crats, and finding new local businesses to support. She likes playing slow pitch softball during the summer in Overland Park. She hopes to travel more in the future.
