Hot Stone Massage is a therapeutic treatment that combines traditional massage techniques with the soothing warmth of smooth, heated stones. Theis deeply relaxing therapy uses stones made of basalt, a volcanic rock known for its excellent heat retention, to melt away tension and enhance the healing experience. During the session, the therapist places heated stones on specific points along the body, such as the spine, shoulders, and limbs. These warm stones gently penetrate deep into the muscles, allowing the therapist to apply more effective soothing strokes without intense pressure. The combination of heat and massage relaxes the muscles more quickly than traditional methods.
