Acupuncture
This initial appointment is required for all new acupuncture patients. This appointment will cover your health concerns, review medical history and assess any other relevant information. This assessment includes TCM diagnostic techniques such as palpation as well as pulse and tongue diagnosis to develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. This conversation is confidential and can typically take up to 30 mins. You can now sit back and enjoy your treatment session. Chiropractic
An initial appointment is required for all new Chiropractic patients or any patients who haven't received treatment in the past year. This appointment will cover your health concerns, review medical history and assess any other relevant information. This assessment will include a physical examination to check your reflexes, joints, hip flexors, spine, neck and posture. Based on this examination, your chiropractor will move forward with treatment as well as a follow-up plan.

Osteopathy
*see below if you are covered by a Canada Life insurance plan. This initial appointment is required for all new osteopathic patients. This appointment will cover your health concerns, review medical history and assess any other relevant information. This assessment includes a physical assessment as well as treatment. Treatments consist of Fascial Stretch Therapy, Craniosacral Mobilization, Visceral Mobilization, Muscle Energy Techniques, Strain-CounterStrain techniques. Your therapist will provide you with a follow-up treatment plan as well as guidance for home care. *If you are covered by Canada Life, please note that they may not reimburse treatments provided by Osteopaths registered with the CRMO. Because of this, we kindly recommend: Contacting Canada Life directly to ask whether your plan covers osteopathy provided by a practitioner registered with the CRMO. If you discover that your plan does not include this coverage, you may wish to express your concerns to Canada Life and to the benefits administrator at your workplace. The CRMO accreditation is recognized by all other major insurance providers, and feedback from plan members can help encourage fair and consistent coverage.

Physiotherapy
Please note that your Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Initial assessment will include a physical exam, as well as with consent, an internal exam. This internal exam involves assessing strength, coordination and reflexes of the pelvic floor muscles to ensure appropriate care and follow up treatment. This initial appointment is required for all new Pelvic Health Physiotherapy patients or any Pelvic Health Physiotherapy patient who has not received treatment in the past year. This appointment will cover your health concerns, review medical history and assess any other relevant information. If currently pregnant, please book initial after 12 weeks/first trimester.
