Acupuncture

Founded upon the same principles as Acupuncture, Shiatsu has an effect on the nervous system, treatments calm an overactive sympathetic nervous system and promote the restful, healing effects of the parasympathetic nervous system. Shiatsu means finger pressure, acupuncture points are stimulated with slow, rhythmic holding pressure. Treatment is done over top of clothing or sheet, stretches are often incorporated. Option to use oil for a Shiatsu and Swedish blend is available.
