In this appointment Lisa will complete a thorough health history and provide an opportunity to discuss your health concerns, as well as answer any questions you may have. Acupuncture treatments may involve one or both sides of the body, utilizing approximately 20-40 sterile, disposable needles to specific points on the body. Treatments are usually quite relaxing and allow for you to rest for 20-30 minutes while the needles are in. Other therapies that might be utilized include cupping, dry-needling, electro-stimulation, and infrared heat.
