Initial Manual Osteopathic Therapy Assessment & Treatment

Manual osteopathic therapy is a gentle, hands on approach that views the body as a whole. By identifying dysfunctions in the body’s structure and function, balance is brought through muscle energy osteo articulations, organ manipulations, lymphatic drainage, myofascial and cranial-sacral techniques. The myofascial remodelling aspect is similar to the no oil part of a massage treatment, and the osteo articulations have the same intention as a chiropractor, but are less invasive with no cracking. Improving overall alignment, fluid flow and supporting the nervous system throughout the body allows it to heal itself.

  • musculoskeletal pain relief for TMJ dysfunction and headaches.
  • soft tissue techniques targeting sciatica and plantar fasciitis.
  • joint mobilization to restore joint mobility and reduce restrictions.
  • whole-body assessment and postural alignment evaluation.
  • manipulative treatment approaches for whiplash and tension-related pain.
