A component of Complex Lymphedema Therapy performed by Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) with particular focus on unique nature of Lipidema. MLD is one of the primary methods of moving fluids and proteins out of affected swollen areas of the body. As necessary, will include re-routing fluids due to Lymph Node removal or damage. Includes Self-Care Recommendations, Compression Garment Use & Care Education.

MLD is one of the primary methods of moving fluids and proteins out of affected swollen areas of the body. As necessary, will include re-routing fluids due to Lymph Node removal or damage. Always required prior to Compressive Decongestive Therapy (CDT) wrapping which may or may not be required depending on swelling issue/severity.
