Lori brings a three-dimensional approach to massage, bodywork and whole body wellness, combining movement with massage. She specializes in orthopedic, sports, and Traditional Thai massage, all of which incorporate movement with massage. When the end goal is improved movement and mobility or greater relaxation and freedom in the body, utilizing active and passive movement with massage can enhance the therapeutic outcome of a session. A component of Complex Lymphedema Therapy performed by Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) for swelling disorders regardless of cause. MLD is one of the primary methods of moving fluids and proteins out of affected swollen areas of the body. As necessary, will include re-routing fluids due to Lymph Node removal or damage. Always required prior to Compressive Decongestive Therapy (CDT) wrapping which may or may not be required depending on swelling issue/severity.
