Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of extremely gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. The use of gentle touch, dry brush and gua sha tools help aid in reducing swelling and lymphoedema. A weekly session is recommended for best results.
