Manual lymphatic massage gently flushes the lymphatic system, especially after the removal of lymph nodes. Even when only one lymph node is removed, the lymphatic system doesn’t work as efficiently and becomes sluggish. This technique uses slow movements and only the pressure of a dime. Massage cupping is also used to encourage the lymph flow. A lymphatic stone massage uses hot gemstones and castor oil. This type of massage is deeper than the manual lymphatic massage.
