Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage that is intended to encourage the natural drainage of lymph. MLD is recommended for treatment of Lymphedema due to cancer or infection. It's also helpful for congestion and arthritis, as well as improving scar tissue and reducing bruising after surgery or injury.
