Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very gentle massage that accelerates the movement of lymphatic fluid. Your lymphatic system works with your cardiovascular system, and helps rid your body of bacteria, viruses, cellular debris and excess fluid. The light pressure of MLD decreases the sympathetic mode and promotes a parasympathetic response in the body, which eases tension, helps you relax, enhances deeper sleep and helps with pain management. Some of the benefits of MLD are: *Reduces skin swelling *Promotes healing *Reduce pain and recovery time *Helps with post surgical edema *Decongests sinuses *Improves arthritis, fibromyalgia and polymyalgia *Very beneficial for migraines and chronic fatigue syndrome *Helps with overall body detox *Anxiety *PTSD *Enhance immune health MLD can also be beneficial where the neurological/nervous system or autoimmune system has been compromised, such as: *Parkinson's disease *Multiple Sclerosis *Lupus *Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) MLD IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.
