Chirayu (Chi) Desai is a Registered Physiotherapist. He is an internationally educated Physiotherapist and he has practiced/worked in multiple countries. This blend brings out the best of both eastern and western medicine. His uniqueness lies in focusing on holistic health to manage a condition. Chi has a special interest in sports injuries, arthritis and low back care. He has taken numerous certification courses over the years that include Acupuncture, Arthritis Instructor, Inflammatory Arthritis, Motivational Interviewing, Manual Therapy, Pain Science, Neural Mobilization. He believes in continuing education to provide the highest quality care to his patients. For long term outcomes he focuses on therapeutic exercise and education to empower patients to manage their problems independently. Some of his experience with sports include being a part Para Pan-Am games, 2015 Games and Team Physio for GlobalT20 cricket tournament. He runs specialized program called GLAD:D Canada, that helps people with hip and knee Osteoarthritis manage pain and improve function. His hobbies include cooking, trekking , running and travelling.
