Caitlin Isbister, Lic.Ac., Dipl.O.M., MSTOM Caitlin (she) is at her most content when helping people. She believes the highest form of medicine is prevention. A focus of every treatment is to help patients deal with stress and improve their quality of life so they can get them back to doing things they love. Since Caitlin was a child, she has always been interested in facets of Eastern cultures. She pursued this interest by visiting Japan, studying taekwon-do and practicing qigong. Caitlin obtained her BS in Medicinal Chemistry from the University at Buffalo and her MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2008 from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago. Caitlin uses Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat various conditions in all ages. Her areas of expertise include: *all types of pain disorders (back, neck and joint), paresthesia, and neuropathy *stress and mental health issues (anxiety, depression, anger, irritability) *irregular menstrual cycle, amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea *headache, tinnitus, jaw tension and TMJ disorder *allergies, sinus infections and other respiratory disorders In addition to acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, she incorporates cupping, moxibustion and gua sha in her treatments. Caitlin has practiced primarily in Boston and Arlington, Massachusetts since 2008 and has held a residency at Boston Medical Center in the Department of Family Medicine. Includes in-depth health history and interview, with individualized diagnosis of your current condition and constitution, and development of a plan to fix immediate problems as well as create long-term wellness. Acupuncture, Chinese herbal evaluation, and/ or adjunctive therapies will be recommended and employed as needed. This session includes a treatment.
