BIO Born and raised in Coquitlam, Elliot participated in many sports growing up and he enjoyed traveling, camping, and recreating with his family. His kinaesthetic aptitude combined with an intellectual curiosity for wellness and healing led him into massage therapy. He has lived in the Sea to Sky corridor since 2017 where he continues to explore his passions. He loves to ski, hike, bike, surf, climb, paddle and get into the backcountry. He trains Jiu-jitsu regularly, currently holding the rank of blue belt. PHILOSOPHY Elliot is a practitioner that embodies both therapist and trainer roles. He recognizes the gap between evolution and modern culture and helps bridge this gap through both massage and movement modalities. Elliot believes in the versatility of massage, which can contribute to a broad set of client goals including rehabilitation, recovery, pain relief, tissue mobilization, enhancing body awareness, maintaining and improving range of motion, and supporting mental health. EDUCATION A graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster, Elliot completed intense academic and clinical training and received the designation RMT in 2017. Furthering his education, Elliot has studied the Functional Range System (FRS), a mode of training that focuses on functional mobility, joint health, and movement capacity. Within the FRS educational system, he has achieved his FRSC, FRA, FRC, and Kinstretch certifications. This pursuit has not only broadened Elliot’s skill set but also enriched his understanding of exercise programming, assessment, and treatment strategies.
