BSc, MScPT. Sara completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours specialized in Kinesiology at York University and her Master’s degree in physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University in Scotland. Sara has practiced as a physiotherapist for over two years in the United Kingdom. Her aim with patients is to help them return to their favourite hobby, achieve their maximum potential and to encourage an active lifestyle given her background in personal training. Sara has had post graduate training within the Bobath Concept and expanded her knowledge in movement analysis, postural control and normal movement which guides her practice in orthopedics. Sara is currently continuing her post-grad education with Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (CAMPT) courses. She loves working with a variety of patients including athletes and dancers with injuries, post-fracture/orthopedic procedures as well as people with neurological conditions. Sara incorporates her coaching skills guiding you through an efficient and motivating rehab program. Sara takes pride in integrating her passion for exercise in her practice and incorporates her pilates training in her approach. She empowers patients to get to know their bodies and values patient education immensely. She stays active dancing contemporary, swimming and lifting weights in the gym.
