Alex has been a physiotherapist since graduating from Western University in 2015. He has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2014. He is passionate about continual growth and education and has an extensive background in functional movement assessments and customized exercise plans. He has been in the health and fitness industry since 2009, which gives him a comprehensive understanding of exercise as it applies to injury rehabilitation. Alex enjoys working with weekend warriors who work a normal job but love to beat up their bodies at the gym or through sports. He specializes in treating weightlifting injuries and has also taken numerous courses on shoulder, hip, and knee rehabilitation from the top strength and conditioning coaches in the industry. Furthermore, he enjoys treating acute neck and back injuries as he’s experienced first hand how debilitating these injuries can be, but also how effective early intervention can be to a successful recovery. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? During his spare time, you’ll likely find Alex working out at the gym or out dancing salsa and bachata.
